HEYYY! I’m so stoked you’re here!

JA WOLL!!!! If you can’t tell since it’s in the #1 spot, a huge part of who I am is my German identity. I have grown up in the Chicagoland German community and am an active member in 3 different social + cultural clubs in the city! I have danced in 3 different clubs in 2 states and have added a fourth to the list in recent years. And yes, all this also means I do enjoy a good liter of Hefeweizen Bier, Proßt!

You heard me right, I have an obsession with America’s National Parks (And any other country’s for that matter). Part of my obsession with travel elopement and landscape photography is getting the chance to not only capture a scene or a couple, but to be out enjoying nature as Mother Earth intended it to be! Some of my favorite places include Banff + Jasper National Park in Canada, Rocky Mountain National Park, Glacier National Park, and Smokey Mountain National Park. I hope to visit all the parks in Utah this year as well!

Music has always been a HUGE part of my life. I remember growing up, family friends would all go to this local karaoke bar to have dinner, hang out, and sing. I think that’s where my love for music started honestly. Fast forward to today and I’ve gone to well over 100 concerts and am constantly on Ticketmaster finding more haha.

And I am proud of it! This sweet lil bb is my mini aussie pup Quigley! She came into my life in August of 2021 and my life has been forever changed for the absolute better! She has brought so much happiness and structure to my life in a time where everything seemed so chaotic. So if you have a lil fur baby yourself, lmk! We’re always looking for friends to play!

After quitting figure skating at 18, I jumped straight into running. I ran on both the Track and Cross Country teams at Concordia University Wisconsin and post grad I continued to run on my own! I even have been crazy enough to run the Chicago Marathon in 2018 and last year in 2023! Running has always been the best way to clear my head, keep me focused, and recharge me! If you’re in Chicago, catch me on Thursdays running with 3Run2 in Logan Square or along the Lakefront trail!

I’ve been fortunate enough to have parents that prioritized family travel my whole life and I’m forever grateful for them instilling that same love in me. I’v been to 37 of the 50 states and 10 countries. I hope to visit all 50 states and add a few more countries to that list by the time I’m 40. Wish me luck!
